Positive energy

Have you ever felt like the gray cloud over your head and wondered WHY?  Why do I spin my wheels hoping for something that may not happen.  I think it is human nature to continue to strive for hopeful things in our lives and continue to maintain a positive attitude.  One moment at a time - continue to focus on what you need and what you want.  Remember to invision the best possible thing that can happen in your life.

Community - beads - oh my

Get ready for the holiday season.  There are plenty of things to do and prepare for.  We have so many fun events in the Denver area.  This weekend alone there is a music festival, 2 art walks and drumming circle all within a 24 hour time period and within blocks of each other.  It is awesome!  I highly encourage people to get out and see their neighbors.  The Fall weather is brisk and people are brimming with energy.  With the cooler weather we realize the time is now to prepare for the winter.  Especially here in Colorado.  I love Colorado - miss rain but love the mountains.

one bead at a time

we hear and read the saying one day at time.  a simplistic reminder to live in the moment.  as a dedicated bead junkie - i think in terms of beads. i cannot begin to tell you how many bead, i mean days that go by and i think what have i acommplished and where am i going.  one bead at a time.  i think about goal setting and preparing for my future and my daughter's college fund.  one bead at a time.  i think about the election who will win and what will the outcome bring our nation.  one bead at a time.  the only way to complete a wonderful piece of art is with some steps.  choice the

Back to school for the bead junkie - what does it mean

Sizzle Summer time

Beadjunkies is staying really busy this summer.  We will continue to have beads and finished jewelry at the First Saturday evening Drumming Circle at Witches Brew in Denver.  There is a HOT SALE for the month of July at Bizaare Bazaar (49th and Lowell Blvd.)  Bracelets are $5 and necklaces $10.  Real stones and pearls - yummy!

Stay cool even when HOT!

What is in a name?

The name Beadjunkies, “it’s an addiction” was conceived in the basement of our Denver, CO home 6 years ago.  My ex-husband and I wanted to design a website that described us.

I confess

I did it - I bought over a $1,000 dollars of beads at one show on one day. Thus, I am a beadjunkie! It is true. I think of the little shiny beads on a string. Pearls and stone, glass and lampwork and I know I must have it. The best part is I use everything I buy. I carry them in my wallet. Is that considered using a bead? I wear them on string or hemp. I embellish all I can with beads. What do you do?

The store is coming and moving right along

This weekend we will be at Bizarre Bazarre for selling beads and more.  April 26th 49th and Lowell.

Happy Earth Day

Beadjunkies is online and getting product out!  Remember we mail your items with green products.
