Yes we made, It was a long journey to get here and to this mental place of peace and calm.  We packed the house, the truck the animals and teenagers and not to forget the beads and traveled west. Not to sure what the chapter will contain.  Preparing fr Portland art shows and meeting new people are just one part to the book. Hello fellow Beadjunkies - our recent news from Denver is that we are moving the beads to Portland, OR.  We should settle later in the month and hope to keep you informed as to our adventures.  Keep beading.

I love summer.  I love going to the area craft shows and seeing local art and creativity.  The unique jewelry and beads.  It always comes back to the beads.  To all you creative beadjunkies out there - keep beading, keep creating, create connections and continue your beady love.  You inspire me.

Greetings to the Basha Bead lovers.  Bead Junkies has received numerous emails over the past month requesting the beautiful and bright Basha Beads.  I currently am in possession of one!  It is a large pendant with blue, red and green hues.  Cost is $55.

The past few weeks, I have had the wonderful opportunity to make great community connections.  Meeting candidate, visiting neighborhood merchants, volunteering and event planning.  I am recreating myself and my designs.  Using vintage fun buttons for whimsical bracelets.  Sitting with a cat while beading.  Working towards making a difference in the community and myself.

I highly encourage you to visit the site and learn about the worthwhile work this organization provides for young women in Africa.  If a young woman is seeking an education, this organization helps make the dream some true. 

Well it has been a long time since my last entry.  Life has a way of catching up to us and over running the show.  I am back in the director's chair creating a new movie and vision for my life.  It is very exciting and a bit scary.  I have the world waiting in front of me.  Heck in front of us all is a new chapter waiting to be written.
