Beadjunkies is staying really busy this summer.  We will continue to have beads and finished jewelry at the First Saturday evening Drumming Circle at Witches Brew in Denver.  There is a HOT SALE for the month of July at Bizaare Bazaar (49th and Lowell Blvd.)  Bracelets are $5 and necklaces $10.  Real stones and pearls - yummy!

The name Beadjunkies, “it’s an addiction” was conceived in the basement of our Denver, CO home 6 years ago.  My ex-husband and I wanted to design a website that described us. 

I did it - I bought over a $1,000 dollars of beads at one show on one day. Thus, I am a beadjunkie! It is true. I think of the little shiny beads on a string. Pearls and stone, glass and lampwork and I know I must have it. The best part is I use everything I buy. I carry them in my wallet. Is that considered using a bead? I wear them on string or hemp. I embellish all I can with beads. What do you do?

This weekend we will be at Bizarre Bazarre for selling beads and more.  April 26th 49th and Lowell.

Hello Bead world. How are you? Summer is not that far and there are a lot of woderful bead shows and craft fairs being planned for your enjoyment. Annually is the Fairplay Bead Show in August, 9-11, 2008. Location - mainstreet Fairplay Colorado. It an awesome and fun weekend for everyone. The atmosphere is refreshing and the mountain town is charming. So come!

So often I read websites with information regarding how to bead a necklace and what materials to use. However, very rarely have I found one that would create an open forum for people to discuss what they are creating and provide feedback. How to sell your wonderous items? How to survive in a sluggish economy? How to trade beads for feeds? You have the opportunity to share information across the country!
